The World Series was postponed due to weather for the first time in history Monday night. Pouring rain, strong winds, and cold temperatures made the Philadelphia area miserable for fans and players alike on Monday, and the game was called in a 2-2 tie in the 6th inning. Inclement weather tonight (even snow) will prevent the Rays and Phillies from playing until Wednesday evening. This is surely harrowing for the Philly faithful, seeing their beloved team possibly three innings away from their first title in 28 years, and Mother Nature not cooperating.
