Yesterday's activity in the mid-Atlantic

Despite numerous tornado watches and severe weather threatening many of the nation's largest cities yesterday, activity was below severe levels in most locations. There were sporadic reports of wind damage in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and New York, but no tornadoes or even hail reports.
